In Samantha’s professional career, she has served as the Defense Attorney for the Lee County Drug Court (2012-2013), Contract Defense Attorney in the Circuit Court of Lee County (2013-2014), a member of the Lee County Drug Court Screening Committee (2011-2013), and Defense Attorney for Child Support Court (2011-2012). She currently acts as the Auburn City Prosecutor.
Samantha has served as the President of the Lee County Bar Association, Past-Chair of Opelika’s Happy Hour Rotary Club, and a volunteer with the Alabama State Bar Pro Bono Task Force and Volunteer Lawyer’s Assistance Program. She was a graduate of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lee County Class of 2013 and Opelika’s 20 Under 40 Class of 2013. She was designated as A SuperLawyer in 2020 by FindLaw. She currently serves as a board member for BigHouse Foundation, a diplomat for Auburn Chamber of Commerce and a member of Auburn Young Professionals.
Samantha, her husband Ed, and their children enjoy being active in the community. Samantha has a heart for service and serves many areas through Opelika Rotary and BigHouse. Samantha enjoys watching her children ride horses and do gymnastics. Her son is full of energy and keeps her on her toes. Samantha and her family are members of Opelika First Baptist Church and enjoy various bible studies offered there.
